Portrait Drawing & Painting Workshop
Robert leads a weekly Portrait Drawing & Painting Workshop at the Box Factory for the Arts in St. Joseph, Michigan. Open to artists of high-school age and older, the workshop welcomes artists of all experience levels—from beginners interested in exploring portraiture to advanced artists seeking regular practice with a live model.
The atmosphere is very relaxed, welcoming, and supportive, with artists encouraging one another as they work. Participants may work independently or ask Robert for instruction and feedback, allowing each artist to receive as much—or as little—guidance as they prefer. Beginners who would like instruction are encouraged to let Robert know when signing up or at the beginning of the class so he can help them get started.
